Laden with sumptuous layers of petals, the Pierre de Ronsard rose droops on its stem as it gently unfurls with the afternoon. If find these these fat, old-world roses wonderfully luxuriant! The cultivar is named after the great 16th century French poet, Pierre de Ronsard.
The artwork itself is around 5cm square, painted on upcycled stone tile which provided a beautiful smooth surface for the delicate brush strokes and pen work.
The framing is professionally done a professional framing house, behind glass, with gallery standard finishing and hanging wire at the back.
