Find yourself in perfect harmony here in the middle-storey of the forest: the earth warms you from below, and the freshness of blue sky heals from above. Somewhere in the middle they merge into the muted tones of the Australian bush, and a perfect balance of warm and cool, chaos and stillness.

This piece is comprised of multiple layers of rich colour overlaid with delicate textures created with rags and small brushes to emulate the layers of the forest understorey. I'm endlessly interested in the unique palette of the Australian bush, full of muted grey-blues and greens against vibrant skies and wildflowers.
