Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
A sprinkling of Wanderer butterflies nods about in the hot scrub, their orange-brown wings just a momentary warp in the air, blending with their landscape ablaze with the colours of spring.
In this peice, The Wanderer also refers to the yellow wattle that bobs about among the other trees, and myself or the viewer, as we wander serenely through pockets of scrub near our urban homes, soaking in the warmth of landscape under the bright Australian sun.
Edges are painted with Dulux Sea Radish (a grey-green) for a finished look if hung unframed.
