You know that feeling of curling up in a Chesterfield sofa? A cosy nook of luxury and warmth that forms to your body? Well, this pocket of nurturing forest, and those rich tones of leather and mocha reminded me of just that.
That’s why I call my artworks ‘cosy wild places’; because to me they feel like coming home. The forest floor is the ancestral home for we Homo sapiens, bringing the soul-memory of 300,000 years of thriving there, right? We’ve always been connected, it’s remembering.
This piece is on unstretched linen, which provides for more eco friendly shipping that doesn't require plastic bubblewrap (Nature thanks you!). Arriving rolled in a mailing tube, it is also very easy handling. Any framer can prepare it for hanging, and my costs on unstretched pieces are around $200 lower to accommodate this step. See my website for more information or ask me about framing.
Size given here is final image size. There is extra margin of fabric for framing. The price is lower on my 'unstretched' paintings to accommodate the extra step.
