The rushing river finds pause tangled in the lazy boughs of the evergreens which loll in the cool and sup the nourishing tannins of the blackwater.
Inspiration location is Tumut River, NSW in the Snowy region near Gundagai. I kayaked down this river on a group expedition over three days, and fell utterly in love with the cool green riverbanks as seen from the water.
The piece is done on quality unstretched, primed Italian linen for superior surface. I work on this surface for many pieces also in keeping with my sustainability policy: its also easy and inexpensive for your national or international postage if required!
It will require framing. There is around 7cm of spare canvas around the edge to accommodate just about any framing choice.
