This piece is all about the unity and liveliness of the bush. I loved the harmony of nuanced tones as the central green travels out in two directions - towards yellowish greens all the way to wattle yellow; and on the other hand to blueish greens all the way to sky blue, blending the trees with the shrubs and the sky all at once.
A lot was done working fast in outside in the sun, wet into wet, to get great energy and blending of colour.
Pops of crimson and peachy pink added gorgeous depth and spoke of the red tips of new growth and the pink tufts on the flowering gum trees.
This piece is on unstretched linen, which provides for a more eco friendly shipping that doesn't require plastic bubblewrap. Arriving rolled in a mailing tube is also very easy handling should you need to take it to a framer. It will require framing of some sort to hang.
