The Grounded mini-collection is a development from the "saplings" series which explores the contrasts in Australia’s woodland forests: the calm and stability lent by the clean verticals of sapling gum trees; against the texture and tangle of the forest floor. Without beginning or end, the tree trunks pull us into the continuum of the forest: past to future; earth to sky.
