Artwork Description

This painting is from a photo in "A certain Sydney 1900" by Max Kelly. These houses were built for working men from the 1850's. The children were from my imagination.

This painting is on stretched canvas and framed.

I was born in Devon England and immigrated to Australia with my husband and two daughters.
I am a self- taught artist, painting mainly landscapes and buildings.
I have had several exhibitions at various galleries in the St George and Sutherland area and I have also won first prize at the Oyster Bay Festival of Arts plus other secondary prizes.
I started in oil colours but am now using watercolours also.
I hope you like my paintings as much as I enjoy painting them.
