Artwork Description

Dreamy , big , square painting of horses and an owl in flight, on a starry, full moon night. This is a magical, gentle, restful piece that I hope elicits some happiness from people who gaze on it. On feep edge, stretchered canvas. SALE PRICE! No frame needed

Artist Bio

I am an artist from South Australia, painting from the heart. I have also started making clay sculptures of people and animals.

Many of my paintings tell a story. I paint in oils, acrylics, gouache and watercolours and my work can be illustrative, figurative, abstract or naive.

Patterns and animals often feature in my artwork and scenes of rest are also recurring themes.

As well as being inspired by the naive art of Croatia (where I was born) I find inspiration through my regular trips to Bali, where I often spend one month at a time . I plant myself on a balcony for a portion of each day, painting watercolours or drawing as I absorb the sights and sounds of the island and its wonderful people and birdlife.

For more than a decade I have taken part in exhibitions at Jackalope Studio Gallery in Port Adelaide every year ...especially during the S.A.L.A festival .

My work is regularly on the walls of Gitanjali at Walkerville and at Framing World at Sefton Park.
