“CORAL BOTANICS “is an X-large original statement painting by Wendy Moore. It is inspired by the colours and forms I have been photographing and drawing on my travels around Queensland .
”CORAL BOTANICS” on the colours found in the garden and landscape; I use my iPhone to edit and enhance photos inspiring the painting process. I also look at forms and movements in nature. This artwork is painted in vivid colours maroon, rust and blue with a bright coral background.
I enjoy the process of using and mixing colours to create a large vibrant painting with layers of underpainting with contrasting flat areas.
