It is inspired by the colours and forms I have been photographing and drawing on my travels around Queensland. .ZOOM BOTANICAL “is part of a new X -Large series of painting where I am zooming in on an image ,painting a bold vibrant painting focusing on broader bands of colours found in foliage , blooms and flowers . I also look at forms and movements in nature. ZOOM BLOOM is painted in pinks, greys , maroon with a touch of golden yellow. I enjoy the process of using and mixing colours to create a large vibrant painting with layers of underpainting with contrasting flat areas.
