Dreamtime in Monet’s Garden

After watching tutorials on using cold wax and oil paint I decided to have a go.
Dreamtime in Monet’s Garden is the result, named for the soft impressionistic colours used which reminded me of Monet’s waterlilies. It was such a delight to reveal layers when scraping back and highlighting the texture applied. The texture looks like tendrils of wild plants.

Wendy Sherwell has always loved art and started painting seriously about 20 years ago and has made a concerted effort to hone her skills.
