Haunted Forest was inspired by fairy stories I heard when growing up. The dark spooky forest with a building in the undergrowth and who knows what is lurking in the dark. To the front are gnarly trees.
The medium of cold wax and oil allows for scraping back to paint layers underneath and gives a lot of depth to the painting.
