Light the Way is an abstract which is full of emotion. It has an icy coldness of a cave filled with stalactites and stalagmites with soft reflective clear water. Lights are burning to break the darkness and a feeling of calm and mystery ensues. Lots to look at and explore here.

Wendy Sherwell has always loved art and started painting seriously about 20 years ago and has made a concerted effort to hone her skills. She loves painting bright colourful abstract art and her main inspiration came originally from the Blue Rider Group and the fauvism painters. Wendy is now branching out into abstracted landscape paintings and experimenting with large palette knives to create emotive individual original paintings. She is a very eclectic artist and is inspired by many things in the natural world. From time to time you will see some surrealistic art and there is a wide variety of styles in her portfolio. Experimentation with artistic ideas is what keeps her art alive and energetic!
