Moon Bird

Influenced by Salvador Dali, this surrealist painting is totally original and a one off. The amazing colour scheme and limited palette have made this piece exquisite and a conversation piece. The “ water” is very still and reflective. A bird with long legs struts the shallows and a small boat like object is floating in the water nearby. A huge moon balances on a scaffold.

Wendy Sherwell has always loved art and started painting seriously about 20 years ago and has made a concerted effort to hone her skills. She loves painting bright colourful abstract art and her main inspiration came originally from the Blue Rider Group and the fauvism painters. Wendy is now branching out into abstracted landscape paintings and experimenting with large palette knives to create emotive individual original paintings.
