The Teapot House

This is a colourful warm and fascinating painting in an abstract surrealist form with houses and fields and a focal point of a house with a teapot spout. It’s imaginative and has all the warm colours juxtaposed with the cool light blue of the contrasting houses which makes for a delightful combination.

Wendy Sherwell has always loved art and started painting seriously about 20 years ago and has made a concerted effort to hone her skills. She loves painting bright colourful abstract art and her main inspiration came originally from the Blue Rider Group and the fauvism painters. Wendy is now branching out into abstracted landscape paintings and experimenting with large palette knives to create emotive individual original paintings. She is a very eclectic artist and is inspired by many things in the natural world. From time to time you will see some surrealistic art and there is a wide variety of styles in her portfolio.
