I am very excited to present the beginning of my new artwork collection. New and unexpected scenes painted over a cut out wood plaques - here I am re-visiting and bringing to another level what I was doing about 20 years ago back in Russia. I used to paint folkloric Russian scenes over wooden plaques.
These ones though, full of humor, unexpected scenes, new characters from Australian flora and fauna, and of course custom made wood shapes that contribute so much to each scene.
