Artwork Description

Fragments of Bloom explores the presence of flowers beyond their physical form. Set against a pale green field, the softened blooms dissolve into light and colour, creating a sense of calm and contemplation. The blurred edges suggest fleeting memories and the quiet rhythm of nature, where beauty exists not only in clarity, but also in what is gently obscured.

This mixed media work on canvas incorporates acrylic skin, creating a tactile surface through layered textures and organic forms.

Artist Bio

I am a Sydney-based artist originally from Sabah, Borneo. My creative journey has been shaped by a lifelong curiosity for beauty, culture, and the stories found in everyday moments. Before dedicating myself to painting, I spent many years travelling internationally as a fashion model, an experience that refined my sensitivity to colour, composition, light, and form.
Working primarily with oils and acrylics, I create semi-abstract works that explore memory, nature, and emotion. Rather than capturing subjects literally, I seek to express their atmosphere.
