Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Wind in the Barraba Willows" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting.

Our journey took us through Barraba, an old township in the New England region of NSW. It was established in the early 1800s with the discovery of gold and then copper as well.
We love visiting these areas and learning of their history. We camped at the Holiday Park and were blessed with this very view that I painted. We looked across the paddock and down to the creek, which in fact is the Manilla River. Willow trees either side swayed in the breeze and a horse came to graze on the lush green grass.
