"Tree Change Station" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting.
I love rural properties and admire the work that goes into working the land. They come in all shapes, sizes and states. I often take photos straight out of the moving vehicle. Then, when I go through my photos later, I try to imagine the scene the way I saw it, and this puts a whole new perspective on my inspiration.
A rural shed somewhere in the Bathurst region in long grass with distant hills semi covered in trees and a shadowed tree with debris in the foreground.
Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
