"I am influenced by Australian landscapes and nature. Some scenes are generated from memories or fleeting moments. I love to create movement and atmosphere in landscapes to reflect feelings provoked and the intensity in which I scrutinise the colours and forms before me. I heavily abstract using strong and unexpected colour, shapes and lines. I use layers of paint to create texture and depth."
