Artwork Description

Sealed MDF board

Signed on the front.

Frame not included

This little oil painting was inspired by artist Brian Cook who taught me how to use a palette knife to create texture and a loose effect in my artworks. It is inspired by many much-loved Australian beaches, perhaps mainly Byron Bay this time! I have used a palette knife to create texture in the waves and in the headland. It is sold unframed but will be easy to frame to suit your decor.

Red sailing boat moored close to shore at Bribie Island, with a distant view of the Glasshouse Mountains across the passage.Looking across the Main Beach at Yamba towards the headland and lighthouse, with the ocean baths in the foreground. There is a cloudy sky and a smaller headland in the distance.
