Gold Hour comes from my 2024 series “Wild.Life” where animals are anthropomorphic characters portray human like behaviours. All from various walks of life, the animals gather together in various forms of celebration. Highlighting the joy in celebrating ‘moments in time’.
A fantastical scene of animals celebrating together. Featuring a laughing Golden Labrador dog, sharing space with a Tiger wearing a few (who is in mid chuckle) surrounded by a Golden Monkey cuddling a pineapple, whist the dog brandishes a lobster. At there feet a various ingredients for a cocktail including lemons, Limoncello and Vodka! There is an inscription on the canvas which reads “ Once you've tried one of Gaston's cocktails, life will never be dull again! “
