So often, Cathy's artworks are inspired by nature. Over the years, travelling both abroad and in Australia, Cathy is drawn to photographing trees, plants and leafy vines. She has especially fond memories of walking through rainforests and looking up to capture the soft white streams of sunlight‚ peeping through the treetops, highlighting the myriad of green foliage. Capturing these memories on canvas, she has her figures hiking through a dense rainforest of dappled light and basking in the beauty that nature has on offer.
