All art by Jenny Davis

Large oil painting, minimal style in soft colours. Has a retro mid century feel. Sometimes it takes a long time to resolve a painting.
This painting was started in April. After being away for 3 months I can see now, I don’t need to do anymore to it.
I can also see a tiny, little blue heart shape, snuggled in the middle of the painting.
It touched me the blue heart as my mother just passed away during covid lockdown with me and her favourite colour was blueIn this piece, I've merged the raw textures of French stucco paint with the fluidity of acrylics. It's a journey through abstraction, where minimalism speaks loudly in subdued chaos. Every stroke is deliberate, yet it resonates with the spontaneity of life's imperfections. This isn't just a painting; it's an emotion at a moment in time.
