Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

"Looing through eucalypts" is a painting from my Bushflower series, where collected native floral ephemera are the subject matter.
I paint the twigs and flowers directly from life and use the many collected bits of botanica that I have drying in my studio.
This painting's subject is the ubiquitous eucalyptus leaves and the amazing array of subtle colour variations that can appear on one branch.
I have included a pale yellow melaleuca blossom for a bit of focus in the lower portion of the picture plane.
The image is extended over the sides and the work is sent ready to hang.
