This painting"Endurance" is the latest in the series "After the Fires". On a recent visit to the Victorian High Country, in the Mount Buffalo National Park, it was amazing to see how quickly nature bursts forth to replenish both the low scrub areas and the trees. The colours were quite vibrant due to the mu lots of rain and there was gentle mist rolling down the hills. The painting is quite natural in the choice of colours but has a modern contemporary feel. There is little texture but the overall look of the painting is smooth.
