Artwork Description

Hearing bird calls of a morning gives me a sense of well-being.
"Warbling Magpies on a Fence" was inspired by one of our visits to the Mount Wilson gardens open day high up in the Blue Mountains National Park. It was whilst we were strolling around the Cathedral Reserve, where hubby first saw two magpies sitting on the fence with another one singing along as she was about to land. I'd love to know what their warble meant. For me, it was a real bonus seeing these three Australian magpies close by. A lovely landscape with the Blue Mountains as a backdrop and a beautiful garden to boot.
