Fairy Floss is a creative venture into intuitive painting with acrylic inks on yupo paper.

I created my first layer by placing foliage from my backyard over my sheet of yupo paper then I sprinkled, dribbled, sprayed acrylic inks over and around the foliage.

After removing the foliage further intuitive layers of ink applied using different methods of application until my pretty, dreamy and atmospheric landscape had emerged.

I rather like the softness this piece portrays even though it is a little gritty too, due to the markings etc left by the application of my first layer. These details and subsequent layers have been protected by a layer of fixative spray followed by a layer of spray varnish.
