A wintry image with outlying farm buildings on the edge of a lake. There is an olde world feel to this piece with its gentle colour and calming air. There are two pines standing guard over the barn and the edges of the lake on both sides are tall and spare of leaves. I love the feel of this piece and I hope you enjoy it too. The treatment of the scene elevates the piece to a modern take on an olde world, classic piece that has been given a fresh take. Misty morning sunlight hanging over the Waterlilies create a delightful scene with sparkling light catching on the water and misty swirls sitting on the water adding a feeling of mystery and interest. This is soft and soothing and will grab your attention and you will delight with the beauty of these iconic flowers every time you view the work. This is a loose modern impressionist portrayal of the lilies. Moody A peaceful scene of the river with calm water, reflections and a beautiful sky. A little slice of heaven here on Earth. This is from my memory of afternoons on a river cruise in Europe. Deep shadows in the afternoon across the Lily pond with reflections of the grasses and stalks of plants surrounding it. There are patches of blue sky reflected amongst the lily pads and a stunning bloom in soft mauve catching the afternoon sun. This is a reflective piece than will bring calm.

There are red trees and bushes that add warmth to the golden grasses and yellow flowers. A riot of movement and energy to fill your senses. A feast of vines and leaves with ripe fruit spilling across the canvas in deep purple shades. It’s a no traditional piece to warm your dining room or kitchen or another sunny spot in your home. Your eye wanders across the canvas and follows the twists and turns of the vines. Bursting with light and patterned water reflections, this piece takes an impressionist subject into a contemporary line interpretation of Waterlilies in a pond. There are strong design elements that pull the story together ina blaze of light and mystery. It is a stunning piece that will become a focal point in any room.
