Reclaimed miniature stone tile

This artwork comes with an external frame

A tannin-stained river drifts from out of the fold of a mountain, bringing with it stories of the deep forest: of high country trout and platypuses and dragonflies and the vibrant greens of willows cooling their toes.

I adored the pop of lime green against rich chocolate browns, softened with dusty mauve tones in the background. Inspiration location is the Murrumbidgee River in NSW.

This piece is done a reclaimed/upcycled miniature stone tile (a kitchen benchtop sample!). Professionally framed in solid wood with white veneer and copper detailing. Behind glass.
