Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Grey Fantail" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

The Grey Fantail is similar to a Willy Wagtail with its constantly wagging tail and somewhat smaller white eyebrow, but is mainly grey, has a white throat and white tips on the showcase tail. This one is enjoying the filtered sunlight through the leaves, fanning its tail and delving into the mysterious abstract background.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.

Images: For best online screen-viewing, this painting has been professionally scanned depicting the colours as true as possible.
