Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Pink Protea Spray" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

I'm enjoying my current inspiration for native flowers. Wildflowers bring me so much joy! Native cut flowers tend to live longer than other varieties and have a unique rugged beauty of their own. Would you believe Proteas go back 300 million years...and although Proteas originate in South Africa, Australia has the largest number of different species of these beautiful flowers in the world.
This bunch of flowers consists of an Ice Pink Protea, a few Leucodendrons, Baby Blue Eucalyptus Leaves , greenery and small pink flowers.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.

Images:  For better online viewing, the painting has been scanned depicting the colours as true as possible, although there can still be some variation depending on your screen.
The painting will be delivered flat and ready for framing.
