Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Looking forward to the next Generation" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour and requires framing to hang.

I was given a painted Emu egg, and it inspired me to learn more about Emus. Did you know that the Mum can lay several clutches of eggs late Autumn or early Summer, but it is the Father that incubates them for about 8 weeks and then nurtures the young. It takes the babies six months to mature, but they wll often stay with the family until the next Spring.

In this painting the Father is excited and looks forward to meeting and bringing up his new offspring.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.

Images: For optimum screen viewing, this painting has been professionally scanned depicting the colours as true as possible. They may still differ a little depending on your screen.

Shipping: This painting will be sent in a flat pack and include a signed certificate of authenticity. Sent with Australia Post, fully insured requiring a signature upon receipt.
