A beautiful White Egret moves gently in and out amongst the reed beds, barely making a ripple in the water. It's reflection standing out in the dark green and blue surroundings. The water also reflecting the greens and browns of the long reeds. An old fallen tree trunk whos leaves are starting to turn dry and brown is lining the shore of the reservoir.

Hi everyone, here is a small 25x25cm oil painting of an early morning scene along the Shipwreck Coast in Victoria. It's in between Cape Patton and Apollo Bay, this stretch of coastline has long held a special place in my heart. I've been visiting and painting this area for many years now and each time it offers something new—shifting light, changing tides, and that unmistakable ocean energy. In this particular piece, I wanted to capture the soft, early morning light as it brushes over the rolling waves and rocky shoreline. The sea has that gentle green-blue hue, with hints of foam dancing across the surface. The distant hills are veiled in morning mist, and the headland glows with warm, earthy tones as the sun begins to rise. Thank you so much for viewing my artwork, I appreciate your support. xxx
