Softest pink flowers above the green leaves and soft blue water. There is energy and movement of the water and a sense of calm and rest. The water and lilies fade into the distance and the overall scene has a calming effect.

Monet painted these over and over again and I can see why as they are just such a happy thing to capture and a timeless subject.
