I am drawn to paint the organic nature of leaves falling from trees. The earthy colours are rich and the natural decaying of the leaves give the painting interest. I have painted leaves many times - each leaf has it's own uniqueness and the artwork becomes a study, as I observe their qualities. The warm colours would suit a cosy space or brighten a dark corner of a room.
