Australian Magpie in The Park by Michelle Dujmovic

Australian Magpies are such characters. I enjoy watching them as they go about their day. I watched this one in a local park, loving his expressive eyes as he looked deep in thought.

I painted the background in a loose style in contrast to the detailed painting of the Magpie, highlighting what a stunning species they are.

My painting is created with high quality watercolour paints on hot pressed Arches paper. Part of the Arches stamp can been seen near the signature - see photo.
Painting has a wide professional matt board ready to be framed to your preference.
