The days are getting cooler...winter is coming. Long warm days at the coast give way to shorter fresh ones as tempest waters batter shorelines and grey skies shift not only tides, but moods too. I love this time of year though. There's a comfort and solace at the coast in cooler weather. It's not as busy - alone time is easier to find along rugged shorelines and on empty chilly beaches. Here I can inhale the fresh salt air, and exhale the frustrations of life. Shifting seasons, shifting tides, shifting focus...a shift in mood can be a beautiful thing.
Created with palette knives on 12 oz stretched polycotton canvas, this fresh seascape seeks to awaken the senses. It is framed in a white woodgrain timber frame. It comes satin varnished and with a COA.
