"Hibiscus Gold" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

This is a double yellow Hibiscus, that grew quietly in the corner of our previous property. It had no prominence, as other trees and greenery were around it, yet it produced magnificent flowers.

Yellow Hibiscus flowers symbolize many things, all positive with an overall theme of beauty, spirituality, love and friendship. I've tried to evoke these meanings in my painting through the details, colours and movement.
I've taken a shine to the detailed and intricate beauty of flowers. This painting was created with many layers of transparent watercolour and lots of patient waiting in between.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
