Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Wildflowers in Hues of Gold" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

I received a beautiful bunch of native flowers for my birthday! Wildflowers bring me so much joy, and my daughter is well aware of this. .. bless her little socks. Natives last longer than other varieties of cut flowers and have a unique rugged beauty of their own.
Before drying them i pulled tham apart and studied the individual flowers and made a collection of photo references for the future. Now I can arrange these photos how ever I like into numerous different compositions.
This composition consists of blooms in shades of gold, with a light coloured Protea, two different Banksias, Kangaroo Paw, Baby Blue Eucalyptus and various bits of foliage.

A bunch of these beautiful flowers will brighten up any home, and when not on the table, they can be on your wall.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.

Images:  For better online viewing, the painting has been scanned depicting the colours as true as possible.
The painting will be delivered flat and ready for framing.
