I love that peacocks are a somewhat exotic bird, and while kept in some gardens, they are still, wildlife. And within moments they go from just being a large bird, to one that can even dwarf a human when they display.
Kept by kings, and sultans or similar - those of the 'upper class' and yet, rather bohemian in the funky days of the sixties and seventies. While the typical blue peacocks are so glorious, this one, bathed in sunshine was an absolute vision in white. I was determined to paint this one day, and this was the result. A dramatic artwork to grace any area.
Sometimes, my drive to paint something is just a kind of challenge to me, I don't run from difficult things, as the delight of succeeding overcomes all fears. Because all of my artworks are something I haven't painted before (bar a very few), each one is a challenge to my abilities.
The sides are painted, continuing the painting (see detailed photo), but it can be framed if desired. Ready-to-hang β wire on back - secured on 4 supports (edges, and on 2 spacer/support bars at 1/3 and 2/3 points).
All care is taken to represent my artwork, due to computer monitors and other device screens, colour, and also size in hanging 'suggestion', can vary. Signed on the SIDE, and rear, with COA provided. Protective artwork sealer used on surface.
Available internationally. 16"x48β.
